We want everyone to be able to access and use the Lakes Construction website, regardless of their abilities or the devices they use. v
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Text and background colours were measured for contrast, and every combination used meets the WCAG AA ratio. Each page has one main heading and a logical heading order. Images carry text descriptions. Forms have visible labels. The site works on phones, tablets and desktop screens and can be used with a keyboard.
Moving content can be paused: image sliders pause when you interact with them. If your device is set to reduce motion, entrance animations and the slow zoom on the main images are switched off.
Some photographs in galleries are described briefly rather than in detail. The embedded map is provided by Google and its accessibility is outside our control; our address and service area are also given as text on the Contact page. The chat assistant is an additional way to reach us, not the only one – every enquiry can also be made by phone, email or form.
